Consider This Your Sign to Apply - (Junior) Production Manager

"Wait, you do all of that? I want in."

Nothing we'd love more.

Experiences are the new media. Brands that get this aren't just investing in campaigns anymore — they're investing in moments. And that's exactly what we build: from the first idea to the last attendee.

If you know what we're talking about and want to be in the thick of it — keep reading.

We're looking for someone who doesn't need convincing that this is exciting. Someone with a first chapter or two behind them — agency, in-house, or freelance — who's ready to join a team that conceives and executes experiences from the ground up.

What we do

At Openers, we produce experiences of all kinds — and we mean that literally. OOH campaigns, guerrilla activations, pop-up stores, exclusive dinner series, roadshows, trade fair appearances, conferences and summits with thousands of attendees. All of it. For brands across tech, lifestyle, and culture — from well-known VCs to Spotify, TikTok, and beyond.

Our Experiences unit works both independently and in close collaboration with our communications team — because we think brand visibility holistically. True to our "Friends with (professional) Benefits" mindset, we show up for our partners with expertise, a wink, and genuine enthusiasm.

We believe the best teams are diverse — in background, perspective, and experience. That's why we're continuously working to be more inclusive and more intentional: in our decisions, in the partners we choose, and in how we treat each other. With an honest eye on ourselves — and a real will to do better.

What you bring

  • Some experience at an events agency, in-house, or as a freelancer — or solid, self-built practice in event planning
  • A basic understanding of working with different trades and stakeholders
  • An interest in event conception and, ideally, set design
  • First touchpoints with ticketing tools or event software
  • A valid driving licence (Class B)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • A hands-on mentality and can-do attitude — you find solutions before others have finished describing the problem
  • The kind of calm that other people lean on when things get hectic

A network of your own? Even better.

What you'll do

  • Hands-on support across the preparation, execution, and wrap-up of productions — digital and in-person
  • Briefing, organising, and coordinating third-party partners, trades, and personnel
  • Independent research into new tools, platforms, and trends — you know what's happening before it's obvious
  • Contributing to budgeting and staffing planning
  • Creative input on concepts and campaigns

What we offer

  • Exciting, varied projects for brands in tech and lifestyle — with real substance
  • Flexible working: home office and remote, where productions allow
  • Short decision-making paths and genuine room for ideas
  • Real prospects: many of our team members have been with us for years, moving through different areas in line with what drives them
  • Access to a grown network across industries — and we mean it when we say you're more than welcome in it
  • Phone costs covered and a travel allowance
  • A team that doesn't just talk about teamwork — it lives it: motivating, supportive, honest
