opnrs Expands Its Operational Leadership

Selina Lücke, Sebastian Ries, and Fabian Giese form new lead tier

opnrs is strengthening its operational leadership and promoting three long-standing team members: Selina Lücke steps into the role of Lead Consumer/Lifestyle, Sebastian Ries moves up to Lead Tech/B2B, and Fabian Giese takes on responsibility as Lead Client and Team Development — overseeing the growth of both client relationships and internal team structures.

With this expansion, opnrs adds a new operational layer designed to support the agency's dynamic growth. The goal: faster decision-making, sharper resource allocation, and stronger knowledge exchange — across teams and disciplines.

"We have a lot planned for 2026 and beyond," say co-CEOs Carolin Lessoued and Kerstin Bock. "Our service portfolio is expanding, live communication — activations and productions in particular — is growing, and our collaboration with the ETC Collective, which we co-founded, is intensifying. All of that takes not just vision, but strong structures. Which is why it matters deeply to us to hand operational responsibility to people who are already stepping into these roles with competence, perspective, and team spirit — and who will continue to shape them going forward."

In their new roles, Selina Lücke and Sebastian Ries take on content leadership for the account teams within their respective departments. Both bring years of opnrs experience, deep expertise in their segments, a strong grasp of trends on both macro and micro levels, and well-established networks across the media landscape and relevant peer communities. Day-to-day, they actively drive the development of their departments and the processes within them — and serve as key sparring partners for their teams.

Fabian Giese operates on a more universal, strategic level — acting as the connective tissue between people development and client development. Working in close coordination with COO Tobi Hönig, he will analyse existing structures, identify growth and development potential, and continuously push the agency's processes and setup forward — both in an HR context and across client development.

All three new leads have been part of opnrs for several years, bringing proven expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of their respective fields. In their new roles, they'll not only establish clear decision-making paths, but also bring fresh thinking, foster knowledge-sharing, and help make the team stronger for the long run.
