The Starting Point

Harvey is the operating system for legal and professional services. Its products streamline workflows across contract analysis, due diligence, compliance and litigation, and the platform is already trusted by more than 100,000 lawyers across 2,400 organisations worldwide — including over 750 customers in EMEA. Backed by investors such as Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, OpenAI Startup Fund and Andreessen Horowitz, Harvey has established itself as the category leader for legal AI internationally.

Entering the DACH market, however, meant starting from a different baseline. As a US-headquartered company moving into one of Europe's most compliance-conscious professional sectors, Harvey faced a market where trust has to be earned before adoption can even be discussed — German law firms and in-house legal teams needed special convincing on data residency, GDPR and BRAO compliance, and AI governance before product capability could enter the conversation at all. The brief: build a communicative foothold for Harvey in German legal and business media, and do it in a way that leads with credibility rather than claims.

What We Did

As their first local PR agency, we set up and run Harvey's full press office for the DACH market. We focus on a combination of proactive B2B / national business media relations including a concise thought leadership messaging and corporate communications around the diverse range of product/partnership updates and new client wins.

Press Office
We run Harvey's day-to-day media presence across the German legal tech and legal AI segment – ranging from proactive pitching to trade press covering the legal industry's digital transformation, to reactive commentary whenever AI regulation, law firm technology adoption or the broader legal AI market makes headlines. Alongside this, we manage relationship-building with the journalists shaping this conversation and coordinate interviews and background briefings for Harvey's DACH leadership. The aim isn't visibility around product news alone, but a standing presence in the stories German legal and business journalists are already writing – on compliance, AI governance and the changing economics of legal work.

Thought Leadership & Op-Ed Writing
Legal AI in Germany is currently discussed along three lines: trust (data security, sovereignty, hallucination risk), efficiency (real-world ROI, the path from pilot to enterprise rollout) and confidence (what these tools can and can't actually do). We built Harvey's thought leadership programme directly around these lines by positioning Mihály Gündisch, Regional Vice President DACH, and Harvey's vertical experts as sources willing to engage the harder questions, not just the upside. That includes proactively owning the GDPR/BRAO compliance narrative, addressing hallucinations and AI limitations head-on rather than avoiding them, and developing macro-economic storylines around the European legal market to earn traction with tier-1 business media beyond the legal trade press. The goal is a spokesperson profile built on substance which should be someone journalists call because he'll give a straight answer, not just an interchangeable talking point.

What We Moved

In the early phase of our collaboration with Harvey , we've identified the company’s core narrative territory for DACH, built out key messaging around compliance and German market expertise, and translated strategy into action fast enough that Mihály Gündisch, Harvey's central DACH spokesperson, has already been placed in several interviews with top-tier German media. For a US legal AI company entering one of Europe's most trust-sensitive markets, that's a strong signal this early on.
